The group of the richest people of the world enlarged on the top

The top of the richest people of the world could change soon. Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH (LVMHF), is now worth more than $106 billion according Forbes.

Arnault and his family own more than 47% of the French luxury goods giant Tiffany. At this time, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has a net worth of $107 billion and Amazon’s  CEO Bezos tops the Forbes list with a fortune of just under $110 billion. Things look different for others evaluators. Arnault's net worth was estimated at $100 billion while Gates and Bezos are listed at $109 billion, by Bloomberg. So, the group of the richest people was enlarged.


Just to remember, from Forbes perspective, Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffett is worth $86 billion while Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has a net worth of about $75 billion. Bernard Arnault also is an art collector. His collection includes work by Picasso, Yves Klein, Henry Moore, and Andy Warho. From 1999 to 2003, he owned Phillips de Pury & Company, an art auction house, and bought out the first French auctioneer, Tajan. Arnault is the richest person in Europe.
