The wet weather is causing delays across the Sydney train network this morning, with the T1, T2 and T9 lines all affected. There are reports that around 5 mm of snow fell in the region, west of Sydney, overnight. A severe weather warning is in place for those in the Mid-North Coast, Hunter, Metropolitan area, the Illawarra and South Coast. The strong winds have also caused chaos on the Sydney roads and for ferry services.
