A 31 old Australian was sentenced for more than 40 years for sex abuses

An Adelaide sex tourist has been jailed on Friday for more than 40 years for his abuse of at least 11 babies and children.

Ruecha Tokputza, 31, groomed children for sex in Australia and Thailand, filmed their abuse and shared it online. Police found 251 pornographic videos and 415 videos on Tokputza’s phone. He also downloaded a lot of pornografic material, videos of child exploitation. The majority of Tokputza’s victims lived in Thailand.This is the fourth-longest criminal sentence handed down in South Australia and at the same time the longest child abuse sentence imposed in Australian history. He will not be eligible for parole until he is in his late 50s. Ruecha Tokputza pleaded guilty to 50 charges committed between 2011 and 2018. His youngest victim was 15 months old. He even declared he was helping the children.

“You said you knew what you did was wrong because they were underage, but you never saw yourself as hurting them,” the female judge Liesl Chapman said. Prosecutors have said his crimes are the most serious case of sex offending in Australia. A psychologist had found Tokputza met the full criteria for a pedophilic disorder. Ruecha Tokputza showed no emotion as he was sentenced.
