Forty-Six year old McKinnon who has an Autism spectrum disorder also known as Asperger’s Syndrome successfully managed to avoid trial in the United States for breaches of NASA and U.S. military network hacks for almost a decade.

The man now regrets his deeds. He said the only reason he was sniffing around military computers was because he wanted to uncover hidden evidence of extraterrestrial life. This Friday in court British authorities chose not to charge the hacker but this didn’t meant the extradition warrant to U.S. was cancelled. McKinnon’s lawyer who fought extradition from the start says they are already looking to find other ways to give McKinnon a clean slate. They even considered getting a pardon from U.S. President Barack Obama.
