A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane returned to airport after a woman asked to recuperate the baby

A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane, Flight SV832, which had left Jeddah and was bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, returned to the airport after a young mother passenger constated she’d left her baby at the airport.

The pilot told air traffic control operators that the woman refused to continue the flight. “This is totally a new one for us,” one of the air traffic controllers said. The situation was considered as an ’emergency case.’ It's rare for pilots to request to turn around unless it's a medical or mechanical emergency. A video of the pilot requesting Air Traffic Control in Arabic and English for permission to return has gone viral on social media. The story ended happily, with the mother and baby reunited.

The pilot has been praised online for his rapid response to the distressed woman’s request. There have been plenty of high-profile stories of people forgetting their kids. However it's hard to believe someone ever be so forgetful as to leave  baby in the terminal, board the plane, and take off before realizing your mistake. There are few details regarding how the mother managed to do this but after all is something generated by the limits of the human nature. Some newspapers remembered that former PM David Cameron once left his then eight-year-old daughter Nancy in a Buckinghamshire pub.
