Interesting and almost unexpected, Russia has fallen to the 47th position. In the same list, the United Arab Emirates it’s risen from 62nd place in 2006 to No. 21 now. On the 10-th position – whick is yet a very good one with acces to 180 places – are three countries from different regions of the world: Hungay, Slovenia and Malaysia. At the end of the passport’s power list are Pakistan (with 33 jurisdictions free access), Syria and Somalia (32), Afghanistan and Iraq (30). The Henley Passport Index is based on data provided by the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) covering 227 travel destinations. It is updated in real time throughout the year.
