At least three people were wounded when a convoy of vehicles crossing into Mexico from the U.S. was attacked by armed civilians early Saturday. Other six people suffered panic attacks.They were struck by an artisanal armored truck of the type commonly used by cartels and then came under fire. The attackers then fled. 20 people were traveling in the convoy to central Mexico: 16 Mexican nationals and four U.S. citizens. The attack happened on the Roma-Ciudad Miguel Alemán International Bridge that spans the Rio Grande and connects the town of Miguel Aleman with Roma, Texas.
