Young couple not admitted to flight because the woman had period pain

A doctor wasn’t immediately available and the couple were forced to unfasten their seatbelts and leave. As a general rule, airlines can refuse to carry passengers with conditions that may worsen or have serious consequences during the flight but this was not exactly the case. However, things happened and the young couple had to pay again for another flight. They had to spend $440 each to rebook their holiday flights.

There are no laws permitting the airline to refund the ejected passenger.  „We would not have wanted to endanger Ms Evans by delaying medical help had she worsened during the flight,” a spokeman of the airline said. Beth Evans is a teaching assistant. “Beth was in tears and getting upset when the hostess was asking her questions. It’s embarrassing to have to explain about period pains when it’s being overheard,” her boyfriend Josh Moran, 26, told to media. This story was largely prezented online and many people commented.”Next  Next time don’t complain openly and you won’t draw attention,”one of them said.
