In the past year, Baghdadi has been reported wounded multiple times. Last year there were two reports that Baghdadi had been wounded in air strikes, but they turned out to be inaccurate. This time, the news comes to the media at the same time with a declaration of the President Obama who said “our mission is to destroy ISIL..” Army Col. Chris Garver, the public affairs chief of the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS told to the media that he could not confirm that it was true. Taking out al-Baghdadi was certainly a priority for the American government and the plan to remove the leader was confirmed by CIA. The Islamic State leader has a $25 million US bounty on his head.
