Remains of a top mountain climber killed by an avalanche in Tibet were found


They were killed in an avalanche. Their remains were found last week by German climber David Göttler and Swiss climber Ueli Steck, who were acclimatizing for their own ascent on the mountain’s south face. Another member of the 1999 expedition, Conrad Anker, suffered a head injury and a broken rib but was in life after accident. Hemarried Lowe’s widow, Jenni, in 2001. He adopted Lowe’s three sons an now was happy to hear with his family that the other two members of the expedition were found. “We are thankful,” he said.” It was full of excitement and passion for life and living.
