At least 61 killed in Aleppo by airstrikes and a hospital was destroyed

14 doctors and patients were among the dead. Escalating violence in Aleppo is pushing people living there to the brink of a humanitarian disaster, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in Geneva. Aleppo has been the epicenter of a military escalation that has helped to undermine U.N.-led peace talks in recent weeks. A Syrian military source said government warplanes had not been used in areas where airstrikes were reported. Russia has previously denied hitting civilian targets in Syria. A U.S.-led coalition is also carrying out airstrikes in the country. So…nobody did it, but many dozens were killed. The International Committee of the Red Cross said the hospital had been “completely destroyed” and labeled the attack “unacceptable.” Doctors Without Borders called the incident a war crime.
