The @AppleSupport promises to answer customers’ computer, mobile or operating system-based queries. Sometimes, it also directs them to a link in which the answer can be spotted. The company also runs a very similar account, called Apple Music Help. That account also tweets tips and tricks and allows people to ask questions. On its first day, Apple Support had already notched almost 100,000 followers plus 2,000 tweets. Some consumers took advantage of this new avenue for customer support to ask how to fix battery problem, fix scratches on their device and other issues. Apart from the general support line it offers on Twitter, consumers can also reach Apple’s customer service representatives via phone and through text chat available on its website. On top of that, they can head directly to the Apple Genius Bar found in its retail stores.
