Police in the Netherlands has teamed up with a raptor training company named Guard From Above and are training now eagles to safely intercept quadcopters that are flying illegally. They uploaded a demonstration video to YouTube that shows an eagle grabbing a DJI Phantom with its talons and taking it down. The project is still in test phase but is promising. A decision on whether or not to use eagles to take out drones will be made in a couple of months. Pt’s a worldwide problem. Tokyo police created drone squads last year that are capable of catching other drones with nets. Other suggested way to stop drones supposes to imagine a high-tech equipment capable to remotely take them over control.
