Pope Francis asked for simplicity in people’s life


The Pope said the child Jesus was “born into the poverty of this world; there was no room in the inn for him and his family.” He also referred to the actual society saying “we need to cultivate a strong sense of justice.” Pope Francis criticized “consumerism and hedonism, wealth and extravagance, appearances and narcissism. “ A day ago, Pope Francis was designated the winner of the International Charlemagne Prize by the German city of Aachen. It was appreciated the fact that Pope sent “a message of hope and encouragement” at a time in which “many citizens in Europe are seeking orientation .”On Friday, tens of thousands of people are expected to crowd into St. Peter’s Square to hear the traditional Christmas day speech.
