Rumors are that the ceremony of canonization of Mother Theresa will take place in the first week of September, next year, set to coincide with the anniversary of her death and during Francis’ Holy Year of Mercy. Mother Theresa died on Sept. 5, 1997, aged 87. She received the Nobel Peace prize for her activity. It is known that Pope Francis has a great esteem for her, as a strong woman she was., with a dedicated life to help the poorest of the poor. Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu on Aug. 26, 1910, in Skopje, Macedonia. In 1946 she was inspired to found the Missionaries of Charity order.
