The suspects included 16 Kurds and one person from Kosovo. Seven of them were arrested in Italy, four in Britain, three in Norway and one in Finland. The terror network called “Rawti Shax,” was founded by one of the suspects detained in Norway, Najmuddin Faraj Ahmad, who also goes by the alias Mullah Krekar. Krekar orchestrated the network even while behind bars. They intensively used Internet for inciting to violence and to recruit foreign terrorist fighters to be sent to Syria and Iraq. The group prepared activities against diplomats from Norway and the United Kingdom.
