Pope Francis about the global climate change problem

“Each year sees the disappearance of thousands of plant and animal species which we will never know, which our children will never see, because they have been lost forever,” he wrote. Pope Francis accused the rich countries to destroy the  poor ones because  the earth is getting warmer due to their industrial activity. As a special specific problem , the pontiff identified that access to safe drinkable water is “a basic and universal human right.” He called the international community to act trough every individual by simple but effective actions, daily: considering taking public transit, planting trees, turning off the lights and recycling. Some major questions must be addressed by every man or woman, The Pope says: “What is the purpose of our life in this world ? Why are we here ? What is the goal of our work and all our efforts ? What need does the earth have of us ?” He insisted about the moral obligation we have to act to solve the climate crisis, based on our moral conscience, clarified for many by religious teachings.
