Germany, Britain, Canada, France, Italy, Japan and the U.S. expressed the strong desire for a 40-70 percent reduction by 2050 in the global emission levels of the greenhouse gases blamed for global warming. They also considered to proceed for stimulating private funding to help to achieve this goal. The leaders of the world manifested intention to be in a united front on Russia if Vladimir Putin will continue to develop actions in Ukraine, saying that a new phase of sanctions will be decided depending on Moscow fully implementing a peace accord brokered in Minsk in February by Germany and France. G-7 summit reaffirmed commitment to defeating the Islamic State group “and combating the spread of its hateful ideology.”
