Egypt’s state news agency confirmed the death of the 21 Christians. The same man with British-accented English, wearing camouflage and a light-brown mask is present in the video saying: “This filthy blood is just some of what awaits you.” In the video, the beheading is presented in detail and after many heads are being placed on the backs of the corpses. President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called Sunday an urgent meeting of Egypt’s top national security body. He also said that Egypt is “capable” in facing this menace.” An official US statement says:”This heinous act once again underscores the urgent need for a political resolution to the conflict in Libya, the continuation of which only benefits terrorist groups, including ISIL,”
