Gunmen attacked the Canadian Parliament Wednesday


Witnesses said that before the two men jump out of a Toyota Corolla and run toward the National War Memorial. A Canadian soldier who was serving as a ceremonial guard was shot and he died later at Civic Hospital. The gunmen ran to the Parliament building and unleashed a flurry of shots. At least 30 shots are fired inside the main building of Canada’s Parliament Hill. One of the attackers has been shot and killed by Parliament Hill security guard  He was not identified. No suspects are in custody and for the instant the motivation of the attack is unknown. However, a connection to terrorism hasn’t been ruled out. The Centre Block was being evacuated.”This is a dynamic and unfolding situation. I understand that people have many questions and we are committed to providing some answers as soon as we are able,” Assistant Commissioner Gilles Michaud, commanding officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police National Division, told to the media. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has increased its alert posture.
