In the international perspective, the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said it is “critical” for Russia “in the next hours” to call on pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine to disarm. He is in „full agreement“ with the French foreign minister and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Obama administration announced that it is ready to impose fresh sanctions on Russia, targeting Russia’s banking, energy and defense sectors. European leaders also have to discuss the UE position against Russia in the Ukraine problem. The Russian President Vladimir Putin has to answer but this time it is expected more from him and, more important, only decisive actions capable to change the situation in the region.
