Edward Snowden was nominated for 2014 Nobel Prize

Just to remember, Snowden himself affirmed in an interview previously published in the U.S.: “I didn’t want to change society. I wanted to determine if it should change itself.” Since June 2013, the Washington Post and the Guardian first published stories based on NSA documents provided by Edward Snowden. Because his name has become synonymous with investigations into American surveillance, he was nominated between the ten finalists of Time magazine’s Person of the Year for 2013 (attributed to Pope Francis).
Saturday, this week, is the deadline of the nominations for 2014 Nobel prize. The final decision will be communicated on October.
