The first who referred to Microsoft relating to the controversial NSA’s program was Edward Snowden. Skype, Hotmail and Outlook are owned by Microsoft. A message posted by SEA on Skype’s official Twitter feed on Wednesday said already: “Don’t use Microsoft emails (hotmail, outlook). They are monitoring your accounts and selling the data to the governments. More details soon.#SEA.” Such messages were posted on Skype’s official Facebook pages.
It seems that hackers’ action is the last new wave around the big problem represented for the President Obama and his national security team by the need to change something in the US government’s electronic spying program. This became controversial during the last month even in the justice, with different decisions issued by different courts. After all, the society wants satisfaction and the President Obama previously specified that an important decision will be made before middle of January 2014.
