Particularly, Pope Francis asks Catholics to change their attitude regarding gays and lesbians, divorced and remarried people and women who have had an abortion. His demand is also for a greater involvement of women in key decisions saying: “the feminine genius is needed where ever we make important decisions.”
Since his election, Pope Francis was presented as a new start in the church. Commentators observed that the different vision of the new Pope is now becoming apparent.
Pope Francis is already strange in modesty. When he was asked to describe himself, he said: “I am a sinner. This is the most accurate definition. It is not a figure of speech, a literary genre. I am a sinner.”
The journalist observed that the living space of Pope Francis is Spartan and austere, with only a few things in it.
