In a second statement, the school dean Suppokoru Disatapundhu motivated that the general idea of the students was to paint a picture showing the heroes but Hitler was painted in grayscale to contrast with them and to demonstrate the fact that good and bad are in the same world.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center affirmed it “is outraged and disgusted by this public display.” They asked in clear words: “Hitler as a superhero ? Is he an appropriate role model for Thailand’s younger generation ? (…)”
After displaying the mural for two days, the university removed it. The official representative of the school said at this time: “I can assure you we’re taking this matter very seriously.”

However, the original image was moved into the Internet with a lot of views, as many other young’s people photos imitating the Nazi salute. All the online publications relating this contributed to show again and again the incriminating image. We do not publish here photos including Nazi symbols.
