Dramatic mortal accident at Cirque du Soleil


After the accident, the long running show “Ka” (remembering an ancient Egyptian belief into a spiritual copy of the human body) was cancelled at the MGM Grand Hotel and casino.

The Cirque du Soleil, founded in 1984 by Guy Laliberte  and Gill Ste-Croix is a Canadian company based in Montreal. During its existence, Cirque du Soleil performed all around the world, except Antarctica. The shows have more than 4,000 employees from over 40 countries. The annual revenue is estimated at more than $ 800 million.
In Las Vegas, the entertainment company plays permanent shows to more than 9,000 people every night.

The Cirque du Soleil received many important awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The company is involved even to design and sell a clothing collection with more than 60 items, in partnership with an important fashion company.
