Joanne Chesimard aka Assata Shakur becomes the first woman to be on ‘Most Wanted Terrorist List’

Joanne Chesimard aka Assata Shakur has 40 years of legacy and was involved with the Black Liberation Army. She is one of the most notorious fugitives in the history of New Jersey.

Joanne Chesimard is now in her mid-60s and still lives in Cuba after she escaped from New Jersey prison back in 1979.  The bounty on her was double on the 40th anniversary of the crime.

According to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, there’s no new threat from Joanne but she is still considered a “domestic terrorist”.

The officials couldn’t make a comment on the fact that whether there were any larger discussions with the Cuban government.

Speaking of the bounty, it will be offered to anyone irrespective of the country they belong to.
