Unfortunately, the fire is said to have burnt alive at least 29. The 38 patients who died during the inferno included 2 doctors and 36 patients. A nurse is said to have escaped the blaze and managed to save one patient and another patient managed to also escape the fire on his own. A list of the patients who were victims of the fire was posted by the Emergencies Ministries showing that the patients were of diverse demographics in age ranging from 20 to 76.
Gorvenor Andrei Vorobyev of the Moscow region was quoted saying that the hospital had its windows barred, but according to the nurse who escaped the doors within the hospital were not locked. Investigations are currently underway to determine if there were any fire regulation violations.
