An extended term for BREXIT was decided by the UK and EU

European leaders and the U.K. government have agreed to a “flexible extension” of the Brexit delay until Oct. 31.

That means an “additional six months for the UK to find the best possible solution.” Mr Tusk said his "message to British friends" was "please do not waste this time". He also said the UK could  rethink its strategy or choose to "cancel Brexit altogether". Prime Minister May had earlier told leaders she wanted to move the UK's exit date from this Friday to 30 June. After two years of Brexit negotiations, the U.K. was meant to leave the EU on March 29. The EU had already warned that a longer delay would mean that it has to take part in European Parliament elections in late May.

The UK representatives will stop working for the EU on the day the U.K. leaves the bloc. Mrs May said that although the delay extends until 31 October, the UK can leave before then if MPs pass her withdrawal deal. „I regret need for Brexit delay,” the UK Prime Minister declared. EU leaders are frustrated with Britain, but they also recognise the necessity of maintaining healthy relations. In the UK, BREXIT may destroy parties but the country is more important.
