A British 86-year-old woman suffered a heart attack after her purse was stolen

A thief struck at the office in Castle Donnington while the 86-year-old was shopping at about 10:00 BST on 1 September. The moment a woman’s purse was stolen from her handbag at a post office has been captured on CCTV. CCTV shows the female creep up behind the elderly victim and rifle through her handbag while her male accomplice pretends to browse greetings cards nearby. As soon as the victim realised that her purse had been stolen she alerted a member of staff in the post office, who chased the suspects but they managed to escape in a vehicle. Shortly after the incident the victim was taken ill and suffered a heart attack. She is said to be recovering well at home now. Leicstershire Police are trying to trace the man and woman in the video.
