Three men stabbed outside London Bridge station


They were rushed to hospital and fortunately none of them had life threatening injuries. One suspect has been arrested over the attack. He has been taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody. A Metropolitan Police cordon has been put up on Tooley Street while investigations into the stabbing continue. It is thought nine men were involved in the fight at Number 1 Bar on Duke Street Hill. Tooley Street is a road in central and south London connecting London Bridge to St Saviour’s Dock. It’s a popular and busy street.

It has some conservation areas with 17 listed buildings. London Bridge station was originally called Tooley Street and opened 1836. Number 1 Bar is a selected location which offers a number of features for entertainment: pool tables, ping-pong and many large screens showing major sport events. It’s not known if the related bar fight was linked to contradictions about a sport event but it is a possibility.
