A car crashed into a house in York, England, in the early hours of Sunday. The vehicle wedged inside the house after punching a hole through one of its walls. The white VW Golf then was engulfed in flames which spread to the property.
A man was sitting on a sofa in the living room inside the house. He was hit and suffered serious lower limb injuries and was taken to the hospital. His wife and young child escaped unhurt. Three people had been inside the crashed car. They were taken to a nearby hospital with head injuries. No information was available about the cause of accident immediately after the unexpected event. However it’s supposed the force of the impact was big as it had as effect the complete penetration of the wall. Similar accidents involving houses also previously occurred in the area.
