Royal sources in England estimate Prince Charles will become King during Queen’s life

Her Majesty, now 91, ruled the Commonwealth for almost 65 years. The Queen  is now Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. The sources suggested that she have told her inner circle that if she is still on the throne at the age of 95, she will ask for a piece of legislation* to grant her eldest son full power to reign while she is alive.”

Clarence House, the official residence of Charles the Prince of Wales, has made no comment about the so-called Plan Regency. Prince Charles has gradually been filling in for his mother and represented her on foreign trips during her Diamond Jubilee year to Australia and New Zealand in 2012. The Duke of Cambridge’s three-year-old son, Prince George, is third in line to succeed his great-grandma, the Queen. The 775-room Palace in London will undergo a 10-year refurbishment. Her Majesty is expected to remain in residence throughout.
