Camden Lock Market in London is in fire
The London Fire Brigade said three floors and the roof of a building within the complex were on fire. Fortunately no injuries had been reported but the fire was moving very fast. The brigade appealed for people to “please avoid the area.” In a statement, officials said that the fire had reached three stories and the roof of a building. The firefighters finally got the fire under control at around 3.20 a.m. The cause of the fire was not yet known. A large fire destroyed a huge section the famous market in 2008. A major part of the market had then remained closed for several months. Prime Minister Theresa May later said that 120 other high-rise buildings had failed fire tests. People in the area tweeted images as the blaze erupted. Just a month before, in London, 80 people have dead in the blaze at Grenfell Tower.
