Police flocked to the scene in The Fairway, Offerton, on Tuesday afternoon following reports of a knife attack.Three victims have been rushed to hospital after a ‘stabbing’ just yards from Castle Hill High School in Offerton in Stockport, UK, on Tuesday, September 1. The extent of their injuries are unclear. Police have not revealed any details about the gender or ages of the knife attack victims. Greater Manchester Police confirmed no arrests have been made. Officers remained at the scene near Castle Hill High School until around 7pm. Police are now investigating the incident .It comes only days after police issued a desperate plea following another knifing in Manchester.

Police-recorded offences involving a knife or sharp instrument rose to 44,076, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said, the highest figure recorded since 2010-11 when comparable data began. Almost half the offences were stabbings. There was also a 14% fall in homicides where a knife or sharp instrument was involved.
