First baby born with Zika linked microcephaly in Europe

The mother was infected with Zika virus on a trip to Latin America.The hospital announced that the baby not required any resuscitation and had normal and stable vital signs. Spain has recorded 190 cases of Zika infections until now. Imported cases of Zika virus infection have been reported in several European countries. However, at this stage, in the EU the virus has only been found in travelers returning from countries affected by the virus.
