The luxury five-star hotel, which runs eleven 9,533 pounds-a-month penthouses, has suites costing up to 2,800 pounds-a-night, with their cheapest rooms at 339 pounds-a-night. Health and Safety officers from Westminster council are investigating the accident. The furniture was believed to have come from one of the  hotel’s privately owned flats. The W London hotel in Leicester Square contains a number of private rented apartments on the top level of the building, managed by property company Knight Frank. “We are aware of an incident in London’s West End. We will fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation,” they declared.
