BMW chief executive collapsed during news conference at Frankfurt Motor Show

It was the first major appearance of the 49-year-old with BMW. He became CEO of the auto company in May. BMW’s Max-Morten Borgmann said in a statement: “At the BMW Group Press Conference the Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW Group, Harald Krüger, experienced a moment of dizziness.” The reason for his fall was not clear but spokesman Maximilian Schoeberl said Krueger was traveling a lot recently and was not feeling well ahead of the presentation, but decided to go ahead. The press conference was cancelled with the promise to be rescheduled. Frankfurt Motor Show , held annually, is the world’s largest motor show. Currently, the show in Frankfurt occupies twelve buildings.
