False alarm from a BBC journalist’s Twitter account suggested that Queen Elizabeth died

The BBCCorporation apologized and tried to explain saying it was an error during one of the its regular rehearsals for royal deaths. Ms Khawaja’s tweets were re-tweeted several times by her followers before she realized the mistake and deleted it, tweeting: “False alarm: Have deleted previous tweets!” She will facing now disciplinary action. “The tweets were swiftly deleted and we apologize for any offence,” BBC said. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said, on the other side: “I can confirm that the Queen this morning attended her annual medical check-up at the King Edward VII’s Hospital in London.This was a routine, pre-scheduled appointment, the Queen has now left hospital.” Not a personal reaction of The Queen was known.
