Germany’s Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America’s Next Top Model. It starts with 12–25 contestants and each episode  one of them is eliminated. The final show is live on TV. However, the show is confronting with criticism during years. One of them, German Topmodel Julia Stegner, said that Germany’s Next Topmodel “has nothing to do with the reality of the fashion business.” Ex-judge Rolf Scheider said that the program “has not produced any top models.”
