Now, managers have ordered "hole-in-the-ground" toilets to match the requirements of foreign workers. According to local news media DHL spent thousands of ponds for the new facility from its Swindon distribution centre. Buying the squat toilets wasn't DHL's first choice for the resolution of the problem. Employees were presented with illustrated signs before entering the toilet in which they were shown how to correctly use the traditional toilet.
Apparently the staff just fed up with all the mess and the broken toilet seats as DHL ultimately went ahead and installed these new toilets. DHL was not reached for a comment on the situation. On the other hand many people say that DHL's decision was a wise one. Some medics believe that going to the toilet and using a squat position is healthier as it could protect against disease.
