Ukraine’s parliament expected to satisfy the protesters


He offered the prime minister job to Arseny Yatsenyuk, former Economy Minister, actual leader of the opposition, but his offer was refused. In fact, the opposition considered this offer as a trap that could divide them.
However, the protesters left their positions declaring they would return if Tuesday things will not change in parliament. A meeting of the opposition was scheduled on Tuesday in the Independence Square in solidarity with their representatives in parliament.
Yanukovich promised to pardon people detained during the unrest but only after protesters end the occupation of public buildings and the blockade of roads.
The EU and the United States manifested preoccupation for the situation in Ukraine, during the last days. On the other part, Russia warned again against international interference.
