Her Tweet generated in turn a lot of hatred towards her. Hundreds of people sent hate messages to the student. What’s more worrying is that some even threatened to kill her, burn her house down or even rape her.

The student was scared and went to the Police in order to escape the nightmare she just entered. She was later arrested because of her Twitter remark that clearly showed she thought people wearing Help for Heroes t-shirts ‘deserved to be beheaded’.

Police sentenced her to community service although the student claims that she meant her comment to be nothing more than a bad joke she made as she tried to criticize the design of the t-shirt. Now after the Court’s decision was taken the student accepted that her tweet post was both disgusting and distasteful.
