Jake Simkins fell to his death after a base jump accident

British parachutist Jake Simkins came in Greece for the last experience of his life-time. While attempting a base jump he was trapped 900ft from the cliff's top. He remained calm while authorities came to rescue him. He asked for a rope so he could climb down the remaining of the clip.

Spain's new austerity measures

This Wednesday Spain announced it will deepen the already existing austerity measures. Mariano Rajoy, France's Prime Minister plans to slash 65 billion euros from the deficit by 2014 in order to avoid a bailout.

French first lady's tweet

French first lady Valerie Trieweiler launched a not so obvious attack towards Segolene Royal when she wished a relatively unknown politician good luck in winning a seat in the second round parliamentary vote.
She twitted this message and managed to "shoot three rabbits with just one bullet".
