Paris Apple store robbed on New Year's Eve

According to Police officials armed robbers entered an Apple store located in the center of Paris and took Apple products worth thousands of Euros. The Apple Inc store was located behind the Paris Opera.

Four masked individuals hit it on Monday at around 9 PM(1900 GMT). The robbery was well planned as the hit was done three hours after the store closed and on New Year's Eve.

Criminals destroy 62000 liters of wine after breaking into a winery cellar

Criminals broke into a Montalcino wine cellar from Tuscany, Italy on the night of December 5th. During that night 62000 liters of quality Tuscan wine went down the drain.

That's a lot of wine. Some might even say that's a river of wine. 62000 liters is the equivalent of close to 85000 bottles.

Apple fined again in Italy over its premium warranty service AppleCare

Apple and the Consumer Protection Agency from Italy have apparently finished a long dispute after Apple was asked to pay $1.2 million in damages.

But this didn't stop Italy from fining Apple with another $264000 dollars (200000 Euros) for breaking existing Italian consumer laws just after the Italian AppleCare investigation was finished.

Francois Hollande plans to eliminate homework in schools

The French President Francois Hollande proposed the elimination of homework as part of an effort to rebuild the education in France. The French education system is a little different than all the others. French children stay until very late at school every day except on Wednesday when they have a free day.
