Chao is willing to pay HK $500 million, the equivalent of $65 million, to any man that can win his daughter’s heart. He publicly declared: “I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind hearted”.
The H.K. tycoon is well known in various social circles. Despite his age he truly is a ladies’ man. There are even rumors that during his lifetime Chao had relations with 10000 women. But fame and fortune are not everything. His 33 year old daughter’s marriage will never be recognized in Hong Kong. Chao believes there’s a man out there for Gigi too, although her heart seems to beat for her lady partner. Gigi and her new wife were together for seven years before they married.
