Qatar Airways it’s currently flying its new Doha-Auckland flights on 259-seat Boeing 777 aircraft. Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said “achieving the title of world’s longest flight for the return record-breaking service” marked a “momentous occasion for Qatar Airways and provides another accomplishment to celebrate in this our 20th year flying the flag internationally for Qatar.” However, Singapore Airlines prepares to launch soon a long distance route of more than 9,500 miles.
