A fuel tanker collided with two buses in eastern Afghanistan, dozens were killed


People injured in the accident had been taken to hospital in Ghazni province. A spokesman for the governor of Ghazni told media that 125 passengers were on board the two buses. “It looks like the bus driver was trying to avoid any Taliban check points, and the tanker driver was trying not to be ambushed by the Taliban,” a local annalyst supposed and it’s suggested that the driver of one bus was at fault, driving too rashly. Accidents are common in Afghanistan where roads are often in a poor state. The war with the Taliban is widening and civilian casualties are on the rise in the country. Several hundred thousand Afghans have already left for Europe.
