Rex, a police dog, to receive Indian government honors

“At the venue of the India-Africa summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security officials planted five grams (1/10th of an ounce) of RDX explosives under his chair as part of the security drill,” a police official told to the media confirming that Rex found it in two minutes. The K9 unit was also used in India when US President Barack Obama visited Delhi and met PM Modi, at the International Yoga Day and during during the Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. Rex has seven years in the police service. The Labrador Retriever, also known as simply Labrador is a favorite assistance dog breed, known at the same time for performing  screening and detection and prized also as sporting and waterfowl hunting dogs.
