Tragedy in Nepal, dozens killed after a bus plunged down a hill

The safety of people in overcrowded one is very hard to maintain on roads into an area with plenty of narrow and windy roads that give way to cliffs. This accident is very similar with another in January this year when at least 30 people died after a bus hit a pole on the side of a road in Doti district and plummeted nearly 700 feet. The hilly and mountainous terrain in the northern two-thirds of the country has made the building of roads and other infrastructure difficult and expensive. More roads are unpaved. round 60% of road network and most rural roads are not operable during the rainy season and more than ten district headquarters are not connected by road.
